Terms and Conditions


Please read these carefully to ensure we are on the same page.



If you cannot make a class for whatever reason, we unfortunately, cannot refund, transfer, or give credit due to the preparation required for these workshops. All purchases are final. However, we encourage you to send a friend along to take your spot!

These policies are in place as a courtesy to our teachers, staff, and venues we work with. We feel this is fair for them as our class sizes are limited, and by purchasing a ticket we:
Hold the spot for you:

Pay the teacher for your spot, and for the time spent preparing all of the materials

Pre -purchase the materials required

Prepare catering

Pre-purchased the food you ordered


For this reason if you forget to attend or have a prior commitment, we are unfortunately unable to provide a refund, credit or transfer.

* All bookings need to be made online, via our FB page in the events section, or online through the website. Simply click the link for your workshop of choice and your access to various ways of paying for your ticket will appear. If you wish to pay by cash this is fine if arranged prior by calling ARTribu.

* Your seat is secured ONLY once we receive full payment, so lookout for an automated confirmation email and please make sure you type in your correct email & phone number.

* We have class minimums to meet, if we do not make them and need to cancel a class we may do so at any time and offer you a full refund, or a credit to attend a class, of the same value within a 12-month period.

* For many artists, a cut-off date is required several days before the actual class date, as they need to prep materials and cut to size etc.

This means last minute bookings won’t be available. It is essential that your booking is paid and received before the cut-off date requested in the event description and link, or the class will be unavailable to you.

* Please set a reminder and double-check workshop dates + times through our website. Unfortunately, because we have held this spot for you and turned others away, we cannot issue credits or refunds if you don't show.

C19- As a small business having only opened a few months ago and riding a pandemic wave, we are constantly trying to evolve and do our best to remain open, offering as many services as we can around the government regulations.

We understand things can change so fast! If WE must cancel due to Covid you will be notified of a reschedule and given a credit. A credit never expires and can be redeemed on any class.

If you suddenly find yourself in home quarantine or awaiting a covid test and can’t make your pre booked class, we understand that these things are out of everyone’s control and usually with very little notice. Sadly, there’s a lot of preptime in getting the class ready and we have turned others away.

We are unable to offer refunds or transfers, but we can suggest the following.

  •   Send a friend to take your spot!

  •   Gift the ticket to a stranger or post it on your social media.

  •   Check with us to see if we have a waiting list for that class or know

    someone who may want to fill your place. If the class is sold out, please email us as we might have a waiting list.


We love having your groups have their own private ARTY PARTIES, whether it be for parties, celebrations or work team building events.

A minimum group size can be 6 ppl with a maximum of 40 people. To confirm your booking a $200 deposit is required and absorbed into the balance remaining when the final balance invoice is sent.

Should ARTribu need to cancel your event the full deposit is returned. If the group cancels, more than 7 days from the event date, an offer to reschedule is given. If the group cancels less than 7 days prior to the event the deposit will not be refunded.

All balance payments must be completed no less than 7 days prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with ARTribu.

If a group package booking deal is purchased and people cancel 14 days prior to the event the cost goes back to the original price point per head (if it was booked at a special rate). Please note this can increase your costs significantly so perhaps ask someone to take the space.

If people cancel and can’t make it for any reason, 7 days from the event, the cost is absorbed by ARTribu as supplies will already have been purchased.


We at ARTribu go over and above to give you a wonderful experience and we thank you for your ongoing support. It’s been tricky to stay open with the pandemics and natural disasters in our region hence we must keep our T&C’s quite tight so we can stay open and give the community fun times into the future.
